Wellington's social scene has outgrown its back rooms. So we booked the waterfront for a weekend. First edition, run by dancers, built around the social.
Twelve workshops from beginner-friendly basics to advanced musicality. Three rooms so the bachata heads and the son purists both get a home. Free water, sprung floors, and a no-creeps policy we actually enforce.
Salsa in the Main Shed, bachata in the Red Room, kizomba on the wharf side. Sprung timber floors, free water stations, and the last song at 1am, every night.
